Cardiovascular disease is the main cause of death across the globe and Africa – 14% of the world population – is the most deficient continent in terms of infrastructure for managing and treating this disease. It is time to set up autonomous structures in Africa; this requires substantial support for training doctors and cardiovascular teams, trying to be as specific and as close to the field as possible.
Mission
To train and educate entire cardiovascular teams (doctors, technicians and nurses, management, administrative services etc.) in Sub-Saharan African countries; to set up autonomous cardiovascular units (interventional), thus reducing the impact of cardiovascular disease on the population (adults and children) in these countries.
